7TH FLOOR (with Questlove)

I was standing on the 7th floor
And saw a body on the pavement
Is that me?
The one I’m looking at, from the 7th floor
I rushed to the elevator, that was very slow
I noticed I was naked with only my scar(f)

Don’t cut my hands – can’t strangle you
Don’t cut my legs – can’t walk out on you
Don’t cut my tongue – can’t spit on you
Don’t cut me off – I’ll kill you

Then the door opened
To the ground floor
So I slowly stepped outside
And stood over the body
Maybe it was not me afterall
It was only a shadow, yes, a shadow

Don’t cut my hands – can’t strangle you
Don’t cut my legs – can’t walk out on you
Don’t cut my tongue – can’t spit on you
Don’t cut me off – I’ll kill you

Honey, I think I died
Or was it you who just tried
The reason I’m asking is
There’s a guy standing over us
Wearing only a scar(f)
But it was not a body at all
It was just a shadow, a shadow

Don’t cut my hands – can’t strangle you
Don’t cut my legs – can’t walk out on you
Don’t cut my tongue – can’t spit on you
Don’t cut me off off off off off….

A shadow…..
